John Shreffler
Toiler in the vineyard since 1975. Largely unpublished by choice but have appeared in assorted international venues including Southfields, Quadrant, Notre Dame Review and others. My first publication was in Gael Turnbull’s Festschrift for his 70th birthday which led improbably enough to a highly cherished friendship. My poem “Neighborhood Girl” was written as a present for the great anti Imperialist Chalmers Johnson who featured it in his “Nemesis,” the concluding volume in his Blowback Trilogy. Currently somewhat at home in the Boston Area experiencing Mandelstam’s Nostalgia for World Culture.
